CULTIVATING LIFE IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
Whether you're exploring faith, have little ones in your life or have been walking with God for a long time, we are excited to walk with you through life's celebrations and challenges. In addition to Sunday services, you can connect with us through the following ministries and events.
Are you exploring or new to faith?
Alpha is a course exploring the meaning of life and faith. We meet on Zoom, watch the videos together, then discuss and ask questions about faith and the meaning of life. We also meet up a few times throughout the course in-person for a pub dinner.
If you would like to know more about Alpha or register for an upcoming course, please email the minister Peter Carolane.

Do you need prayer or pastoral care?
Come along to our Healing Prayer Service on the first Wednesday of each month. This is a space to gather, worship and pray to a Holy God.
Doors open from 5:30pm for tea and coffee, with the service starting at 6pm and concluding around 7pm.
You are always welcome to get in touch for prayer or pastoral support outside of these services.

How do we grow in our walk with God together?
At Merri Creek Anglican, church life is structured around Sunday services and smaller groups, called Community Groups.
In these Community Groups, we share meals, pray, study the Bible and support each other. In this way, our groups form a kind of extended spiritual family, creating a space where we can be vulnerable and learn how to be disciples of Christ.
Groups vary by composition and frequency though generally follow a church-wide study.

In addition to the opportunities for children's, creche and youth activities during Sunday services, the following ministries and events run throughout the week

YOUTH
Merri Creek Anglican is part of the Inner North Youth Group
Every Friday evening during term time, youth in years six to twelve gather with youth from a number of other local churches for Bible teaching, games, food, hanging out, and getting to know Jesus better. They also go on camp together, attend big events, have dinners out, go to the movies, and a lot more. All youth, of whatever faith or no faith at all, are welcome.
The Inner North Youth Group meets at St Michael’s, Carlton North from 7pm-9pm.
For more information about Inner North Youth Group, contact Tom French: tom@merricreek.org.
PLAYGROUP
Come along to the Merri Creek Anglican Playgroup. This is a great way to get out of the house and give your kids an opportunity to have some fun. It’s also fun hanging out with other parents.
